Casale La Pergola is located 4 km off the historic centre of Cetona, a characteristic medieval village. The narrow streets and steps lead to the medieval rock, from where one can admire the splendid view on the surrounding countryside, overlooking the “Mount Cetona”, where the village is named after. Casale La Pergola can be reached by a short countryroad which passes through vineyards and cornfields. At sunset you can easily bump into the local farmers going back home after a long day work. The property has a wonderful view on Mount Cetona. It is made out of ancient stones and bricks, restructured in the ‘70’s by the owners, respecting the traditional features. It is also provided with modern comforts and accessories, which enables the customer to enjoy a perfect balance between the ancient and the modern. PARK: Casale La Pergola is surrounded by a well maintained park of approximately one ha (2,471 acres) supplied with olive trees and cypress trees. A covered car park is also available. SWIMMING POOL: open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. The rectangular swimming pool measures 12 x 6 m, with depth varying from 1,20 to 2,20 m, is equipped with gazebo and deck-chairs and a shower. INTERIORS: Casale la Pergola ground floor consists of a well equipped kitchen with foodstorage, large living room with an antique fireplace, dining table and sofas; sitting room with sofas and Tv, and a twin bedroom with bathroom. On the ground floor you’ll also find an outside dinner area with a porch, furnished with a table and some chairs, an ideal place to enjoy your meals, accompanied by the tranquillity of the tuscan countryside. The first floor, which can be reached by a terracotta staircase, has a studio with a fireplace. The studio can also be reached directly from the outside, using a second stairway made out of traditional bricks. Next to this there are two single bedrooms, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with shower and one with tub). Furthermore, there’s a game room in the basement with a ping-pong table and a soccer table. This room can be entered directly from outside, as well as by the internal stairs. SERVICES INCLUDED: electricity, water, gas for kitchen use, initial and final cleaning, weekly linen, swimming pool and park maintenance. SERVICES UPON REQUEST (supplied and payable locally to the owner): extra cleaning (€ 15,00/hour), extra linen (€ 10,00/person) heating (on consumption up to date market prices), firewood (€ 15,00/100 Kg). N.B. EMMA VILLAS srl doesn't supply directly to the client the services mentioned before, nor does EMMA VILLAS srl receive any commissions for these services, since it's the owners who are responsible for the management of the services and for the collection of the fees regarding the performances that are being offered to the clients FACILITIES: TV, VCR, stereo with CD, dishwasher, washing machine.
