Casale il Gabbiano is an antique farm house completely restored in antique bricks, it is situated on a hillside with enchanting views over the Cortonese countryside and the historical hamlet of Montepulciano. This property is made up of one main building and a dependence. Internally the property has hand made “cotto” flooring, visible wooden ceiling beams and tiles and a beautiful stone fireplace in the living room. The furnishings of this property have been carefully chosen such as hand sculptured wrought iron and untreated wood. The kitchens are a pastel colour and are very spacious and functional, equipped with all the necessary electrical domestics and a fully functional brick fireplace. This country house represents the ideal solution for those wishing to spend their vacation in a relaxing and peaceful haven, yet with the possibility to organise enjoyable excursions, due to its strategic position which allows its guest to visit well known historical centres such as Montepulciano, Pienza, Chiusi, is only a few kilometres, not to mention Cortona and the most renown artistic cities such as Siena, Florence, Perugia and Roma. Please Note: when property is rented in this solution no other guests will be present on site.

PARK: Il Casale Il Gabbiano is surrounded by about one hectare of lawn, enriched with bushes of rosemary and lavender, olive trees and secular pine trees which act as a frame to this postcard property. Outside the main building and the dependence there are verandas furnished with wooden chairs and tables and a barbecue, ideal for dining al fresco.

SWIMMING POOL: The pool, open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October, it is about 20 meters from the main building and measures 14 X 7 meters with a depth of 1,50 m. The pool area is surrounded by “cotto” pavements and lawn, and is equipped with comfortable sun lounges, a wooden table, umbrellas, gazebo, outside shower and bathroom.

INTERIORS: The main building is sub divided on to two floors. From the main door there is the entrance hall, where on your right you will find a bathroom with bath tub, on the left there is a living room, dining room, TV room and reading room (with fireplace. In front of the kitchen (with fireplace) there is the dining area. From the entrance, on the right hand side, you will find the internal staircase which takes you to the first floor, where there are 2 king size bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with bath tubs, 1 double bedrooms with en suite bathroom with shower and two twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with showers.

SERVICES INCLUDED: Electricity, water, gas for cooking purposes, weekly linen, initial and final cleaning, park and pool maintenance.

SERVICES UPON REQUEST (supplied and payable locally to the owner): Extra cleaning (€ 15,00/hour), linen change (€ 10,00/person), telephone on consumption, heating (on consumption up to date market prices), wood (€ 19,00/100 kg).
