Villa “Carraia” is a farmhouse amidst a splendid environment characterized by the Umbrian luxuriant and verdant countryside. The charming residence, situated about 6 Km from Orvieto, can be reached driving along an ancient road, linking Umbria to the area of “Tuscia” (Lazio) rich in traditions and charming landscapes. By short drives guests can easily reach Bolsena, Montefiascone, Bomarzo, the famous “dying village” known as Civita di Bagnoregio, Viterbo, Todi as well as Rome. The country house benefits from a pleasant and romantic view on the surrounding hills. A splendid drive, bordered by cypresses and pines, leads up to “Carraia”, a classic country house which has been restored with elegance and style, combining tradition and modernity.

PARK: an ancient park, rich in forest trees encircles “Carraia”.

SWIMMING POOL: open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. The swimming pool measures 10 x 5 m and has a great view.

INTERIORS: the country house is functionally set on two levels and has top quality trims, both functional and elegant furniture and cotto floors. GROUND FLOOR: entrance with access corridor leading to dining room, well equipped kitchen, sitting room with fire place and sofas, storage and toilet . FIRST FLOOR: On this floor you’ll find 4 bedrooms of which 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 bathroom with bathtub. At approximately 10 m. from the main building, there is an annex, which can be used as a “hobby” room, including a Ping-Pong table and an outdoor wood-burning oven.

SERVICES INCLUDED: electric power, water, gas for kitchen use, weekly linen supply, initial and final cleaning, swimming pool- and park maintenance.

SERVICES UPON REQUEST (supplied and payable locally to the owner): extra linen, extra cleaning up to a maximum of 2 hours per day (€ 10,00/h), telephone (€ 0,30/unit), heating (€200,00/week), wood (€ 15,00/100Kg).
